Day 8: Back to Rome day

Luca: This is a view from the tall tower I told you about.

Nico: That is a beautiful view.
Luca: Since we were so up, I thought it looked like a cartoon.

Luca: Those are Isaac's parents.
Nico: Their names are Matt and Dawn.
Nico: This is us and Isaac.
Luca: Everyone was giving each other bunny ears.

Luca: That is Isaac and his family's picture.
Nico: Their family is very fun and funny.

Nico: That is a picture of Jesus.

Luca: This is at the torture museum and there is a giant skeleton inside a cage prison with sharp claws.
Nico: That's a real skeleton.

Nico: That is a chair that has a bunch of spikes on it.
Luca: we aren't allowed to touch it.
Luca: These are a bunch of fierce weapons that people use on you.
Nico: And that is why they are in a giant box.

Nico: That is called a guillotine. And there's a blade inside that comes and chops your head off.
Luca: Isaac wanted to lay on it but mom said that we couldn't. There was also a sculpture of the executor, the one that pulls down the rope that kills you.
Nico: And that is us standing right next to it.

Luca: That is us eating popsicles and gelato.
Nico: Gelato is ice cream in English.

Nico: That is us sitting in a Rome piazza watching somebody make spray paintings.

Luca: That is us doing flower sticks.
Nico: And the biggest one that is not doing flower sticks is the person who is teaching us.

No Pictures:
Nico: I'm great. I am always great in Italy.

Lovely shots. I love the boys' comments; they add to the nice experience and memories of their Italian summer.
