Day 6: Florence Day

Luca: We ate a mooncake this morning; that's when mom said they were cute.

Nico: We found some graffiti that said Nico. It also said Mind.
Luca: I don't think it says mind.

Luca: This is a creepy sculpture of a man fighting a centaur.
A centaur is a creature that is half man, half horse.
Nico: It's pretty cool. And, I'm great.

Nico: That's a pretty cool statue of a man with a hat and a robe.
Luca: I took this picture.

Luca: I really do not like this dead person.
Nico: That's a man killing someone.

Luca: This is where we saw the sculptures. It is called the Uffizi Sculpture Gallery.

Luca: here's a statue of a famous person whose name is Niccola, that sounds like Nico.

Nico: This is a statue of David.
Luca: David is a famous person who killed a giant who is way,way bigger than him. The giant's name is Goliath.

Luca: This is inside the Uffizi gallery.

Luca: this is the fountain in front of the Ufizzi gallery. It is pretty cool.

Luca: This is a giant turtle statue and a man is riding it. Since it was so cool, I tried to take two pictures of it.

Luca: This is a giant steak that I got. Everyone in the family had to help me eat it!
Nico: We also bought AS Roma jerseys that day, and I'm wearing mine right now (the day I'm writing this).
Luca: This is us next to the river. We had to be careful because mom thought we were going to fall backwards into the river.
Nico: Our hair was blowing wild as you can see.

Nico: We went on the carousel as a little treat that night. We got very good horses. I wanted a front one but dad wasn't sure that the front ones would go up and and down so I had to do one in the second row. But then I found out that they really do go up and down.

Luca: I'm glad that I got on one that went up and down. Mom took a picture of me when I went by.

No Pictures
Luca: Florence was very very fun and I liked the hotel.
Nico: The bathroom didn't smell as bad as our Rome bathroom.
