Day 20: Gondola Day/Full Day in Venice

Luca: Our mom tried to sit on the toilet but the toilet seat fell off.
Nico: She was going pee pee.

Nico: That is us in front of the water.
Luca: We are in front of a canal.

Luca: That's us next to a canal again.
Nico: That's us next to another lake close to a piazza. That day was the day there were a bunch of cardboard flames in the piazza.

Nico: That's a famous picture that is on a big church in the piazza.
Luca: That is a picture on top of a famous church.

Nico: That is a pink cat with only brown skin except its face and black hair. It wears clothes and stands on its hind legs.
Luca: That kitty is named Nico.
Nico: Just like me.
Luca: we just found that cat and he does not speak human or Cute-ish. (Cyteish)
Nico: Cute-ish is really just baby talk. It's not just gah gah goo goo and wah wah doo dah.
Luca: I still really hate cuteish.

Luca: These are some little fishes, octopuses, eels, and crabs. It is a fish market.
Nico: As you can see, there are some little flower shaped octopus tentatcles, and on the next picture there's even funnier shaped fish.

Nico: See? I told you--ghost fish, right?
Luca: These fish do look like ghosts but they also look a tiny bit like sharks.

Luca: I ate this octopus with red sauce that wasn't tomato sauce in a cup and it was really good.
Nico: My armpits felt sticky there because we had a big dance party and I bumped into the cat. And the cat meowed.
Luca: That is me on the gondola.

NIco: A gondola is a boat. That's a picture of me that is very poorly taken.
Luca: Wow, Nico you look like you have a serious stinkeye.
Nico: It is because the wind was blowing very hard.

Nico: That's my hip in front of the ocean, I don't know why mom took that.
Luca: That is me eating a delicious lunch. I really missed chicken wings but this was the only place I could get chicken wings.

NIco: This is a cool sink at the same place. You step on a blue panel or a red panel instead of pulling up the lever on the sink. If you don't know what a lever is, it's pretty much a metal bar attached to something that you pull up for a reaction from the thing it is connected to.
Luca: I thought that was cool.

Luca: That is us eating merengues. I got a licorice one and Nico got a strawberry.
Nico: Strawberry in Italian is Fregola. Mommy was going to the bathroom.

Luca: These are some foods. I got to drink a little bit of prosecco there.
Nico: Those are some breads that we got on a plate. We got to go sit outside on a big bridge and eat then on the bridge.

Nico: Guess what this wall is named after? A toilet!

Luca: That is a gelato place called GelatiNico. I got a licorice popsicle there.
Nico: Gelateria!

Luca: That day in Venice was fun.
