Day 2: Last Day in Madrid

Luca: This is us in front of the park.

Nico: We went on a boat.
Luca: We saw a lot of fish and turtles, but mom got scared because the fish kept breaching up.

Luca: That is me and dad rowing a boat.
Nico: Only dad was rowing the boat.
Luca: I meant I was in the boat.

Nico: That is me and Luca rowing the boat.
Luca: That is when I REALLY rowed the boat.

Nico: That is me eating a banana popsicle called a Jungly.
Luca: Junglys are like bananas because you eat the top off the peel and then you peel it just like a banana. But you can eat the peels.

Luca: That is us in front of a  museum with a lot of creepy pictures. It was called the Prado.
Nico: I kind of liked a picture that was in there that had a picture of a lady who was going to take a bath in the lake but she didn't want to take her clothes off because she didn't want them to know she was pregnant.
Luca: There were also vultures and eagles attacking men.
Nico: Speaking of vultures and eagles attacking people, there was one with a boy named Titus who was strapped to a rock and his guts were being picked out by a vulture.

Luca: There was a god named Saturn and he was very scary because he ate all his babies. But I really liked Jupiter because he was the only son he didn't kill. I liked Jupiter because he actually killed Saturn and I did not like Saturn.

Nico: Those are three creepy faced ladies and they really scared me.
Luca: I told you Saturn was scary!

Nico: That is us dipping things that are fried pieces of dough called churros and we are dipping them into chocolata, which is chocolate.
Luca: I think the churros were better with chocolate.

Luca: This was a huge fish market and there was a huge monkfish!
Nico: And that giant thing that is opening its mouth up to you is the monkfish.
Nico: That is some sea urchin and that's what Luca ate.
Luca: The urchin was very good.

Luca: This is a very cute shelter dog that we saw but we couldn't take him home.
Nico: Us and mom wanted to take him home but dad said we couldn't.
Luca: He gave me a kiss on my leg.

Luca: That is a square where we saw Spider Man and a Rainbow Goat there.

Nico: Those are some hot dogs from dinner. And that is blood sausage.
Luca: I liked the hot dogs the best.
Nico: The blood sausages and the hot dogs were very good.
Luca: These are some chili peppers with really good salt.
Nico: And mom really liked the salt. I think she liked the salt the most.
Nico: That is Luca and he has some tapa and if you don't know what tapa is, it is bread with anything you like on it.
Luca: This tapa was baby eels. They were good.

Luca: That is the king and queen's home.
Nico: We did see their house but we didn't get to meet them.

No Pictures:
Luca: I'm great. I'm sorry to say that this is the last full day of Madrid.
Nico: I"m very sorry to say that. But wait, don't leave our website because there is another city to come!
Luca: We have Lisbon and North Carolina and that's when the real fun happens.
