Day 5: Traveling to Florence/Train Day

Luca: We went on a train ride for an hour and a half, but I felt like it was just one second because I was having fun playing Kindle.
Nico: But we couldn't play at first because we weren't sure we were on the right train.
Luca: Our train went to Florence, which was exactly where we wanted to go. Yay- good news.

Nico: This is us walking at the Florence train station, going to the taxi station.
Luca: We stopped to take a picture of a sign that said Lucca on it. You probably know, but that's my name. That's the picture that we took right there.

Nico: This is the city of Florence. And still, we don't have a car. And, I'm great.
Luca: I think Florence is pretty fun except for the nights because it is not very peaceful.
It was not peaceful so I had to sleep in a different room. Too many people are screaming and having crackly laughing.  I think the apartment smells pretty good.
Nico: At least better than our Rome apartment.

Luca: We went over a bridge that had a statue holding grapes on it.
Nico: We both took pictures of Florence.

Luca: This is the prettiest building I saw.
Nico: Luca took that picture.

Luca: That is me next to me next to a sign that is pointing at me and saying Luca again. But this time it is how you spell my name. I want you to know that I didn't take that picture because I don't know how to take selfies. Dad did.
Nico: I can teach him.

Nico: Our dad ordered a big seafood platter but we didn't know it was going to be this big so we had to help him eat it.
Luca: Since it was so big, Daddy let us eat half of it and we got pizzas and he put seafood on my pizza and folded it in half like a sandwich. He did it to Nico's too.
Nico: As you can see in that picture, Dad took a picture of me trying to wipe pizza sauce off of my shoulder.

Luca; this is us looking at a nice river at Sunset.
Nico: The river there is pretty great.

Mom: The name of the river is Arno.

Nico: Luca and our dad got a big steak dinner, and everyone had to take a few bites because it was so big.
Luca: It was very delicious and I got to eat a lot of it!

Luca: Me and my dad were sitting by the fountain near our room just to hang out.
Nico: That is also where we ate lunch.
Luca: The place we ate lunch was the place with the giant seafood platter.

Nico: we got some yummy mini cakes called moon cakes.
Luca: They are chocolate flavored and I think they are really yummy too.
Mom says that they are cute.

No Picture
Luca: The screaming really freaked me out!
Nico: Of course, we already told you this about our Rome apartment that we had to move rooms because we couldn't sleep there either. Because it was very loud.
