Day 21: Train to Lucca

Nico: That is Luca reading a book on his tablet and me doing my summer homework pack on the train to a city called Lucca.
Luca: I like the trains in Italy and the train to Lucca is a double decker.

Nico: We stayed in a palace! It was very fancy there and the lights turned on automatically.
Luca: There was a king bed there that I really wanted to sleep in and I got mad at Nico because he said it would be too big for me.
Nico: But luckily dad was nice enough to share it with you.

Luca: That is a church.

Nico: That's us standing in front of a sign that's right next to the wall that covers the city of Lucca. If you could zoom in, you can see it says City di Lucca--that's how you say it in Italian.

Luca: We saw a strange bird when we were walking by a river. So we went on a bridge to get to it and before we could get there it flew right up to us on the bridge.

Nico: That's Luca drinking wine.
Luca: I'm actually allowed to drink wine in Italy.

Nico: The top two pictures are what we ate, and the last one is us eating dinner. It was a fun dinner.
Luca: That dinner was yummy and a musician named Neil Young was playing and me and Nico got to dance in front of the crowd.
Nico: Everyone was watching us dance and mom and dad took 20 videos of us dancing.

Luca: That is us dancing.

Luca: Lucca was my favorite place. I wish we could stay there more than one night.
Nico: I love Lucca but at least we got to ride in a surrey the next morning before we left.
Luca: I'm great.
