We were looking at kind of a cat city. (Mom: This is in the Argentinean square, where they have turned some ruins into a cat sanctuary.) It was really full of cats!
This is us at the Trevi fountain. It is where all the water that you use in Rome begins.
Nico: I was drinking from an acquafir there!
Luca: I got grumpy when I tried because I got a huge amount of water in my nose.
Nico: In this family picture there, Luca was still pretty grumpy.
Luca: We were looking at a huge church that we could see the Colosseum from! (Mom: This was capitoline hill).
Nico: We found a statue of two bears next to an eagle.
Luca: I thought it was very cool.
Nico: We found a giant door, the biggest door we've ever seen in Italy!
Luca: I was barely taller than it!
No Picture
Luca: We went to a restaurant in our neighborhood called Popi Popi and I ate a gigantic squid salad and Nico ate a big plate of pasta.
Nico: Everyone loved my pasta. (Mom: It was cacio e pepe).
Luca: What do I like about Italy? I like Italy because it is very fun there and I don't have to get my own water and can drink from an acquafir. Also, it is pretty exciting there because two policemen with big guns are in every neighborhood that I've been seeing.
Nico: There is also a big truck!
Luca: What do I not like? I don't like that it is very hot in Italy. Also, Italy smells a little worse in the apartment and the door is harder to open.
Nico: I'm great.
