Still Pregnant!

Just a quick note to satisfy all of your curiosity--I'm still pregnant, at 40 weeks, 3 days.
Had another Dr's appointment today, complete with Fetal Non Stress Test, and we're both doing great.
The other interesting news is that we have scheduled an induction for Saturday December 15 (I'd be 41 weeks, 5 days). Dr. H tells us to plan on it taking about 3 days (!) to induce the baby because my cervix is still closed and its my first baby. She tactfully told us that we may want to pack things to keep us entertained while we wait in the hospital (card games, long novels, movies, magazines...) Apparently, the baby really likes it in my tummy and may require much coaxing to leave!! Either that, or my uterus is too lazy to give anything up.

In the meantime, I'm doing lots of walking and eating spicy foods to see if we can get the baby to come on his own....
