Nico: First Day (Barcelona #1)

Today is so exciting! We got in a lyft car🚖 and the driver drove us to the airport. We got on a plane✈️ to Frankfurt and it was an 11 hour flight from Seattle to Frankfurt. I slept on the plane. Sadly I don’t have any pics from the airport except this one from right before we got on the plane the picture is me and Luca playing Xbox🎮 in the game station.

You can just see me and Luca in the back of the pic holding plugged controllers🎮and pointing at the screen. After we got to the Frankfurt airport we got on another flight✈️ to Barcelona. After we got to the Barcelona airport we took a cab🚖 to our hotel. The hotel was really fancy. Me and Luca got our own room and mom and dad shared a room that was next to our room. After we layed around at the hotel we walked around Barcelona.

One thing that was weird and cool too is that Barcelona has aquafirs too! They look different though.

We went to a restaurant called Cal Pep. The food (espescially the clams!) was super good and the waiters were really nice.

I think that was a good first day. Also, in the first Cal Pep picture, i'm eating Pa amb tomquet.

Barcelona is awesome!

We got to Barcelona and it is so cool! The food🍔 is so good. Yesterday night we had dinner at a place called Cal Pep. They served calamari🦑, fried fish🐠, clams, squid rings🦑, Spanish omelettes🍳, shrimp🍤, and shishito peppers🌶. Today we went to a Spanish market with Jamòn Ibèrico, also known as Iberian Ham🍖. For lunch🥗, we went somewhere called El Xampanyet. They had the longest and maybe best anchovies🐟 I’ve ever had in my life. We also have a great hotel 🏨. I’m exited to see where this trip is going, and I hope my puppies🐶 are doing good in Washington🏞.

Nico: Getting Ready For Rome #2

Okay, just kidding. I do want you to keep reading the blog. Today I get to skip camp because I have to get ready for Rome. It is July 18 and we are going to Europe tonight. We are going to arrive in Barcelona on early morning tomorrow. We will be there for 4 days.

One thing that made me sad is how sad the dogs look. I think they know that we are leaving tonight.

One thing that I am excited about is the food in Barcelona. This is pa amb tomquet. It is bread with tomato sauce on top of it.

Look at all the packing and suitcases! It is so hard to believe that we are leaving tonight! Next blog I will be in Barcelona!

Nico: Getting ready for Rome

As you might know, me and Luca did a series of blog posts 3 years ago. It was about going to Rome. Now, we are going back to Rome this summer. We are making a blog this summer too. Just so you know this blog is going to be ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE for every single post.

 This time me and Luca are doing the blog we are doing 2 different posts on the same account. You might want to check out Luca’s post because he also made one. Right now it is Sunday, July 14th. We are leaving for Rome in 4 days on Thursday, July 18th. Today I am packing for the trip to Rome. If you are reading this and it is like a year later then you might want to skip this post and the rest because they are all HORRIBLE

I hate packing but I have to. Packing is so stupid. Like this blog.

4 days until Europe, Luca

   

In 4 days, we are leaving for Barcelona✈️. I am thrilled because apparently, the food🍕 is awesome. We will also be going to Athens and Rome, which should be flaming hot🔆. In Seattle, it was scorching, which should get us more used to it.

The Borghese

Luca: We went to a cool museum called the Borghese. It was very exciting. We saw all types of different sculptures. My favorite one was a lion made out of marble.I liked the lion because it looked very cool and I got very good pictures of the lion which looked excellent. And, I really like big cats.
Nico: The Borghese Was super fun! There was lots of sculptures and paintings.
Luca: Me and Nico were starving so we decided to go to the snack bar that was at the Borghese last year. We went everywhere and finally we reached the area. But, the guy told us there wasn't any snack bar anymore. I thought that was very dumb.

                                                               

Daddy Day!!!

Nico: Sadly, Ms.B has left. but, daddy is here!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We ate dinner at a new place I had Nyoki and Luca had Tripe. Then we went to the Spanish steps. It was an awesome night!
