The Borghese

Luca: We went to a cool museum called the Borghese. It was very exciting. We saw all types of different sculptures. My favorite one was a lion made out of marble.I liked the lion because it looked very cool and I got very good pictures of the lion which looked excellent. And, I really like big cats.
Nico: The Borghese Was super fun! There was lots of sculptures and paintings.
Luca: Me and Nico were starving so we decided to go to the snack bar that was at the Borghese last year. We went everywhere and finally we reached the area. But, the guy told us there wasn't any snack bar anymore. I thought that was very dumb.

First Blogging Day Year Two

Nico: On our first day, we went to Sardinia and stopped to get some roadside snails and other stuff for lunch on our two hour drive. Ms B: What an EXCELLENT adventure we went on! Sardinia was very beautiful...lots of rocky mountains, and twisty roads. When we arrived at Santa Maria Navaresse the ocean was a magical blue, green, and warm like bath water. Nico: We played with our friends Michael and Maggie. Ms B: The slide/paddleboat was THE coolest!

Seattle Indochine Moves to Italy 2 by Luca

Ciao! We are going back to Italy this summer. Luca and Nico are going to record their memories on this blog once again.
Just like last year, we will begin with answering a round of questions:

Q: Why are we going to Rome?
Nico: The Rome students are going to study abroad and we want to have lots of fun this summer.
Luca:  So we can have lots of fun studying Rome with mom's students and bring my old teacher Ms. Bedard with us.

Q: What are mom and dad doing in Rome?
Luca: Helping the Rome students with their research and exploring and having fun. But dad won't be in Rome. Dad is coming for the last 4 days in Rome, and he won't be there when Ms. Bedard is there.
Nico: Mom is teaching and helping the students study and Ms. Bedard is taking care of us.

Q: What will Rome be like?
Luca: Very fun like last time, and I hope that we can see different places that we didn't see last time.
Nico: I think it's going to be really fun and visit lots of fun places and go places with Ms. Bedard and show her around and get gelato.
Q: What are you most looking forward to doing in Rome?
Nico: Probably getting gelato on Friday with Ms. Bedard.
Luca: Exploring the fun landscapes of Rome.

Q: What are you NOT looking forward to in Rome?
Luca: Seeing things I've seen before many times, and the weather. It was way too hot.
Nico: Getting hurt and getting hot.
Q: What's the Italian word you like saying the most?
Nico: Ciao
Luca: Grazie mille.
This is us in Rome Last year.
That is Ms. Bedard.

Rome Day. Last Day in Europe.

Luca: That is us at the Trevi Fountain.
Nico: On our last day in Rome we tried to do all of our favorite things.
Why is the Trevi fountain so important? It's because on the last day in Rome you throw a coin in over your shoulder backwards.

Luca: That is a huge column.

Nico: We went to Giolitti for ice cream.

Nico: I wanted to go play at the Piazza so we went and did that. That's a picture of two dogs. The two dogs are like me and Luca.

Nico: We went to a cool place called Popi Popi, we ate pasta, pizza, salads, all kinds of stuff that's good in Rome. And this is the last blog post.

Luca: That's us walking over the bridge in front our our apartment called the Ponte Sisto Bridge.

Luca: That is us inside our new apartment in Rome. we only got to stay there for a tiny bit because the next day early in the morning we had to get a shuttle for the airport.

Luca: My summer in Europe was awesome but a little bit too hot.
Nico: I wish we could stay longer.I will never forget how fun it was and how many dogs there was. Hopefully, we'll have a blog next summer!
Luca: I'll never forget how fun this whole trip was, and I'm sorry to say to our blog lovers, this is the official last piece of our blog.
Nico: But of course, as I said, I promise you that we will have blog next summer--of a new Italy trip!
